GIRONA IS FASCINATING: ALIVE HISTORY AND CULTURE

Girona invites you to just wander through its narrow streets of Barri Vell (the Old Town), which winding paths will lead us to discover precious corners of the city.

The Cathedral, slender and with the widest Gothic nave in Europe, is the undisputed queen with its tower that overviews the city. At its feet are the impressive city walls – that offer a beautiful promenade with views to the city – the Arab Baths, the Gothic church of Sant Feliu, the Galligants Romanesque monastery…

The other big star of Girona is the Onyar river, that crosses the city and over which its inhabitants built bridges and the famous Onyar houses, of intense color.

EVENTS, CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT

Girona is a lively leisure and culture city, which fascinates its visitors and invites you to come back:

In spring, Girona is covered with flowers in its traditional Temps de Flors festival.

In October Fires of Sant NarcĂs takes place, the most important festivities of the city in honor of its patron; unfolding many events: correfocs, concerts, the famous fair in Devesa Park, the craft market and much more.

The so-called Theatre High Season offers superb yet affordable theatre performances.

GIRONA GOLF COURSE

The Girona Golf Course was designed by the renowned architect FW Hawtree, great lover of the sport. The route poses can be divided in two areas: the first nine holes, demanding and forcing the player to use all the sticks, and the later nine, in which the player is rewarded with a game full of sensations.

The Girona Golf Course is surrounded by nature, and its streets point to the beautiful views of the valleys and mountains of our region.

GIRONA: SUMMER IN THE COSTA BRAVA, WINTER IN THE PYRENEES

The Costa Brava offers our visitors beautiful beaches and secret coves of crystalline waters. The natural beauty of the Mediterranean, the charm of its villages: Tossa de Mar, CadaquĂ©s, Roses…

In winter, the snow covers the Pyrenees, and then, lovers of winter sports can enjoy the best snow in a unique nature environment.
